MAMA MIA APARTMENTS

The Mama Mia apartments are located in the village of Zgoša in the heart of the Alps, 8 km from Lake

Bled and 35 km from Lake Bohinj. They overlook the nearby Karavanke Mountains and the distant Julian

Alps and represent an excellent starting point for hiking, cycling, and many other activities.

The apartments are south-facing. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and

dishwasher as well as access to a terrace or balcony, TV and WLAN. All apartments are air-conditioned.

The rooms are bright and offer a mix of modern and vintage-style interiors. The decorative birch

wood with a wax finish keeps you in direct touch with nature. The beds are made of 150-year-old

wood. Because a lot of handwork has gone into the furnishings, each apartment is unique in its own

right.

BEGUNJE NA GORENJSKEM - ZGOŠA

Begunje na Gorenjskem lies at an altitude of 553 m to 586 m below Begunjščica in the Karavanke Mountains.

The town is famous for the Kacenštajn and Kamen castles, the Elan Ski Factory with its Alpine Ski Museum,

and the Brothers Avsenik ensemble with their family inn “Pri Jožovcu” and a small museum with a collection

of their famous Slovenian folk music. The Zgoša village is only a stone's throw from Begunje and has just

under 400 inhabitants.

RADOVLJICA

Radovljica is a municipality that includes, among others, the villages of Begunje na Gorenjskem and

Zgoša.

Radovljica has about 19,000 inhabitants. Sights and activities in the vicinity of Radovljica include:

- a Beekeeping Museum

- the St. Peter's Church from the 14th century

- the Šivčeva hiša gallery

- the Birthplace of Anton Tomaž Linhart

- The traditional Slovenian craft of colorfully decorated biscuits made of sweet honey dough – licitars

- a swimming pool
